Each Sunday at 10:00 AM, we gather for our inspirational, deeply spiritual, thought provoking, reflective, and sometimes just plain fun services. They are led by our minister, Rev. Tony Lorenzen, a few times a month. At other times we welcome guest speakers and UU members to take on a topic that is meaningful to them and share it with our congregation.

Our services may vary, but a service includes lighting the chalice, welcome, announcements, stories of interest to all ages, sharing of personal joys and concerns (milestones), singing, a variety of music, a sermon, a collection of contributions, and a closing. Since our services vary greatly from week to week, we invite you to visit us a few times in order to get a true sense of who we are as a spiritual community. During the Covid-19 Pandemic we transitioned to teleconferencing video (Zoom) only services. Since then our services are both in-person offered via Zoom video.

We offer nursery care during Sunday services for young children, and child-directed, play-centered ministry for older children who attend in-person and do not wish to stay in the service on Sunday mornings. For children who do wish to attend the service, we have a collection of toys, art materials, and fidgets available for them to use while they listen.

Additionally, during the school year, we offer programs and activities for children on various days and times. Please do reach out to find out what we are offering for children at this time. Find out more here: UU Danbury Children and Teens
