People of all ages are welcome.
June’s theme is Flourishing Together and all services will relate to that idea in some way. Some services may differ slightly from these descriptions, as details of the main presentation aren’t finalized until a day or two before each service.
June 7 – Senior High Youth Group Service
Our senior high youth group leads their annual service.
June 14 – The Parable of the Sower – Rev. Tony Lorenzen
Rev. Tony will be leading our annual Flower Ceremony and reflect on the importance of planting beauty, sustenance, and resistance. Please bring a flower to exchange. We will also welcome new members.
June 21 – Our Congregation’s Parish – Rev. Tony Lorenzen
Rev. Tony reflects on the importance of having a mission in the community and embracing an identity that sees our service area to be not just our membership but all those who live around us.
June 28 – Finding the Path… Together: Introspection, Community, and Time on the Appalachian Trail – Samantha McCoy
For more than a century, the Appalachian Trail has been growing and evolving, from its earliest sections in New York State and Connecticut to the 2,200-mile modern trail that spans 14 states. From thru-hikers who spend months living in the woods to backpackers camping for a few days to casual hikers who wander a mile or two, the Appalachian Trail has a mystical way of uniting people. What can we learn from this communal space and the people we meet there?
