UUCD is excited to participate in Solarize Faith, a new program with the Interreligious Eco-Justice Network (IREJN)!  From May 1 – June 30, our members, friends, and family can receive rebates on Connecticut solar and/or battery storage projects from Earthlight Technologies, a CT-based clean energy and energy efficiency company.  

Through Solarize Faith, which runs from May 1st through June 30th, both individual homeowners and UUCD can receive the following financial incentives:

• $1,000 rebate for solar installs.
• $500 rebate for battery storage.

There are two options to pay for it. If you don’t want to invest the cost upfront, there is also a “PPA” option where you are asked to pay only a monthly fee that is LESS than your current Eversource bill. So you can save money every month into the future – no matter what!

Solar not only makes financial sense, it also helps to clean up the environment and to lower the electric rates that everyone pays. Best of all, $1000 will be donated to UUCD for any solar or battery storage project that is successfully installed!
