The nursery is open for children ages 0-5 every Sunday during service. We also offer regular programming open to children in preschool through high school. 

• Sunday, October 4th: Regular Sunday morning and evening programs
• Sunday, October 11th: Regular Sunday morning and evening programs
• Sunday, October 18th: Regular Sunday morning and evening programs, plus the Caregivers/Parents of LGBTQIA+ People group
• Sunday, October 24th-25th: Halloween overnight, regular Sunday morning programs, plus the annual Trunk or Treat.

Halloween Overnight

Kids in the preK-8th grade have been planning a Halloween overnight to take place the night before our Trunk or Treat! If they can pull it off, it will be a weekend full of Halloween fun. Parents, please save the dates in your calendar: October 24th-25th. 

A Few Special Volunteers Needed

• Do you believe strongly in the importance of creating communities in which all kids can belong? 
• Do you enjoy being around inquisitive people who work hard to make sense of their experiences in the world and who think a lot about their own values and the values of other people? 
• Do you like to ask a lot of questions and consider a variety of perspectives as you form your own ideas? 
• Do you like to play, be silly, and have adventures with others? 
• Do you have a good sense of humor? 
• Are you calm, flexible, and able to capture learning opportunities in all kinds of situations? 

We have a few children and youth ministry programs that still need volunteers for the 2026-2027 program year. Please contact Sierra-Marie at dfm@uudanbury.org to consider together whether this is the right fit for you.
