The Fourth of July was not a federal holiday until 1870. How did Americans acknowledge their independence prior to that? How have celebrations evolved since then? Depending on one’s place in American society, the answers to those questions would certainly vary.

Please join us as we explore the meaning of the Fourth of July from a different perspective at 10:00 A.M. (Yes, 10 – NOT 10:30!)
