8th Principle Town Hall Meeting

The Board of Trustees supports the work of the Racial Justice Forum to move UUCD toward adoption of the proposed 8th Principle.  The text of the 8th Principle reads, “We, the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association, covenant to affirm and promote: journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.”

To begin this process, the Racial Justice Forum is asking members and friends to take part in this brief survey to assess the needs of the congregation on this issue.  We ask that participants complete the survey by Friday, September 4th.  Additionally, the first Town Hall meeting to discuss the issue will take place on Tuesday, September 15th at 7PM via Zoom.  The Board and RJF look forward to your participation and engagement with this important issue.  Please direct questions to Racial Justice Forum Chair Marian DiFabbio.
