Sunday, May 24th In Grief, In Memory, with Resolve Rev. Heather Rion Starr
“Keep fresh before me the moments of my high resolve,” wrote Rev. Dr. Howard Thurman. Something about the immediacy and frequency of our grief during these months of 2020 seems closely linked with resolve, to me: our human determination to find something positive amidst the tragedy. Our commitment to remember well-and-long those we’ve abruptly lost. Our compassionate drive to be present with each other even while “social distancing” and even when the scope of loss is more than we can individually comprehend. Join me for this Memorial Day of Remembering and–not resolution, but–Resolve.
