Sunday Service: Wisdom as the Feminine Face of Divinity

Sunday, May 10th                            Wisdom as the Feminine Face of Divinity                          Rev. Bruce Taylor

Wisdom provides a bridge between the worldly and the sacred. Personified as human, she often appears with a feminine face. Our Mother’s Day sermon reflects on the many faces of Woman Wisdom: in the Hebrew Bible; among 19th-century reformers; and the 20th-century artist, Käthe Kollwitz.

Rev. Bruce Taylor attended Andover Newton Theological School and was ordained to ministry in 2009. Bruce has ministered to congregations in Billerica, Ashby, Leominster and Wakefield MA. He lives in Nashua, NH with his beloved wife, Loretta Hubley, an artist. In his free time, he likes to play the flute, do creative photography, and walk in the woods.
