Welcome Visitors

We’re so glad you’re here.

There is so much to share about this wonderful, spiritual place – we can’t possibly fit everything on a website. The absolute best way to learn about us is to visit us. At this time (August 2021) our Sunday services are online and we invite you to get the Zoom link from our Administrator. You’ll be able to see what a service is like, meet people through the online chat after the service, and learn all about us. Please feel free to ask questions and attend several of our services online, and when we are able to gather again in person, before you decide if we’re a good fit as your spiritual home. Not all of our Sunday services are the same.

“Whether you have been with this community a decade or more,
or this is your first time visiting,
WE WELCOME YOU.
Whatever the faith and traditions of your past –
whatever your theological stance – whatever your heritage –
whoever you are, and whomever you love,
WE WELCOME YOU!”

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury reflects the ongoing religious exploration of its members. Unlike most religions, Unitarian Universalism does not have a creed.  Like our founders, we are bound together by covenant – the promises we make to one another as members of one congregation. We draw from many sources for inspiration – words and deeds of prophetic women and men, wisdom from the world’s religions, Jewish, Christian, Humanist, and Earth-centered teachings, and our own direct experience of mystery and wonder.

We hope you visit soon.
