Special events and activities commemorating our congregation’s 200th anniversary are planned this fall leading up to our anniversary date which is actually December 9. On that date in 1822 a Universalist society was formed on Great Plain in Danbury, Connecticut. The present-day Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury (UUCD) traces our history to that date and those founders.
A 200th Anniversary Luncheon will be held after the service on October 16.
A special guest will be speaking that Sunday. Come celebrate our 200th Anniversary with us! A zoom link to the service will be provided for those who cannot attend.
Three previous UUCD ministers who many of us remember will be speaking this Fall; leading up to our anniversary date.
