Unitarian Universalism comes out of the Christian tradition and many of our members come from Christian backgrounds. Celebrating Christmas and Easter as Unitarian Universalists means respecting our religious backgrounds while bringing broader meaning to the holidays. Our membership is diverse in their theology and background so we honor many religious traditions, and recognize Jewish and Pagan holidays as well. Our congregation has some of its own traditions such as Flower Communion and Homecoming. We celebrate life through the holidays that hold meaning to our members and the traditions that we create together.
